About The Title About a year after Mary’s stroke I returned home from a trip downtown. As I walked down the hall I overheard Mary telling someone "This has been the most exciting year of my life. I have learned so much." As it turned out the person on the other end of the conversation was a good friend and professional in the biofeedback field. Two years later when we were searching for a title for the book I recalled the conversation. I suggested My Exciting Stroke to Mary and she liked it. Reaction from friends has been mixed.
